Our President: Jimmy Doherty
With a deep-rooted passion for sustainability, ethical farming, and animal welfare, Jimmy Doherty has dedicated his time and used his various media platforms to making a positive impact on our planet.
Starting with a dream of fully restoring the derelict Pannington Hall Farm in 2002, Jimmy’s Farm was born. It is now home to a wildlife park (over 100 species & breeds), restaurant, wedding venue, vegetable and flower gardens, farm shop and wonderful retail concessions.
The farm strapline, ‘Sharing the Good Life’, best encapsulates his belief that the natural world should be accessible and available to all…
Space for the Wild is the next step in bringing this to fruition.

Sarah Dawson – Chief Operating Officer
Sarah Dawson serves as Chief Operating Officer at Space for the Wild, bringing extensive experience in charity leadership, operations and fundraising. She has previously held senior roles with organisations including Great Ormond Street Hospital and Into Film.
Sarah oversees the day-to-day operations of the charity, ensuring effective delivery across conservation programmes, fundraising activity and organisational development. Her leadership supports the charity’s mission to protect biodiversity, restore natural habitats and promote education and research in conservation.
She brings a strong commitment to purpose-driven work and a belief in collective responsibility for protecting the natural world. Sarah’s appointment marks a key step in strengthening the charity’s operational capacity as it expands its impact across the UK and internationally.
Ambassadors
Charlotte Tobin – Ambassador
Charlotte Tobin is an award-winning publicist, philanthropist and advocate for legislative change in the UK. She founded London-based agency Belle Public Relations in 2014 and leads strategic communications for a portfolio of high-profile talent, brands and charities.
Her advocacy work has contributed to major legal milestones including Lucy’s Law (2020), Rights on Flights (2023), the Pet Abduction Act (2024), and recent updates to the Animal Welfare Act addressing puppy smuggling and ear cropping (2026).
Charlotte has worked closely with Jimmy Doherty and Jimmy’s Farm for over five years, supporting brand growth, media projects and national visibility.
As an Ambassador for Space for the Wild, Charlotte plays an active role in advocacy, fundraising and communications, supporting urgent conservation initiatives including the rescue of moon bears from South Korea. Her appointment strengthens the charity’s ability to drive awareness, influence policy and mobilise support for wildlife protection.
